Cultural trip to Ethnical Bangladesh

Bangladesh is a home of 39 individual ethnic communities who are living here; most of them still are trying to live with their own culture and lifestyle. The tribes in the north and north east are mostly the valley tribe and tribes in the south east are the hilly tribes. Their ancestors from the Tibetan-Burmese.

In this program, we try to show you their regular lifestyle and also using their facilities to help them financially.

Day 01                                                                   Dhaka City Sightseeing :

In the morning drive to the Old part of the center. Visit the sadarghat water front, adjacent Pink Palace which was used a federal house of British, Hindu street Shakariya Bazar, the beautiful Star Mosque, and the Museum. Afternoon visit a theater Hall to see some theater. Overnight in Dhaka.

Day 02                                                                Dhaka – Putia temple City – Rajshahi :

In the Morning, drive to Rajshahi. On the way visit the local markets and villages. After lunch, visit the most beautiful Hindu temple city Putia. This city is one of the remarkable evidence of terra cotta art which is displayed in the temple.  Enjoy the sunset from the Ganges river. Overnight in Rajshahi.

Day 03                                                              Santal Community Visit, Rajshahi:

Today we will send the full day in several villages of Santhal aborigine. From different accounts, they were the oldest tribe in this part of bengla. But still to far from all the government facilities. We will visit some school , eat in their house, photography, enjoy some cultural evens with them. Overnight in Rajshahi.

Day 04                                                          Rajshahi – Garo Community – Mymensingh:

In the morning, we drive to Mymensing area; here one of the tribe from least known tribe called Garu is inside the forest.  Afternoon, visit the tribal villages, a meeting with the community people and some NGO. Overnight in Mymensing

Day 05                                                           Mymensingh – Sreemangal Sightseeing :

In the morning, some activities then drive to Sreemangal area known as the tea capital of Bangladesh.  Afternoon, visit the Sreemangal town by Bicycle. Meet and photography in the tea garden, city life and the tea puckers villages that were imported by the British from Asam (India). Overnight in Sreemangal.

Day 06                                                                    Home Stay in Sreemangal:

Early morning, visit the Lawarchara rain forest. Trek down to the deep forest where the Khasia ethnic group living, visit the village, their school, meet with the community and participate in the morning pray with them.

Then back to hotel of check out. Transfer to the Monipuri village for home stay, Moniuri people are athey only hindu tribe living in Bangladesh. They are very cultural. Spend the rest of the day with participating with their work like farming, house hold work etc. overnight in Sreemangal.

Day 07                                                            Sreemangal – Train Journey – Chittagong :

Morning free time. Then, take the morning train from Sreemangal to Chittagong. Arrive in the business capital of late afternoon. Transfer to the hotel. Overnight Chittagong.

Day 08,09                                                   Chittagong – Rangmati Sightseeing – Kaptai lake:

Morning visit the fish harbor, and then drive to Rangamti. This is one of the district of Chittagong Hill trace and also a home of 1 indegenous group dominated by Chakma. They are mainly Buddhist follower and also the largest tribe in our country. In two days, visit the markets, villages of several tribles, cruising in the Kaptai ake, Buddhist monastery visit, countries only tribal Museum, Cultural  program etc. overnight in Rangamati.

Day 10,11                                                          Rangamati – Bandarban – Boga Lake:

In the first morning, drive to Bandarban. Afternoon, a brief city tour of Bandarban which is famous for the highest three picks and most remote tribes of Bangladesh living under the footholds of the hills. Visit the Marma, Mru, Tripura, Khumi tribal groups in the remote regions with some trekking adventure. One day we sleep in the tribal cottages inside the hills and eat the tribal foods.

Day 12                                                                    Bandarban – Cox’s Bazar:

Morning drive to Cox’s bazaar. Afternoon frree time in the beach. Overnight in one of the best eco resort of Bangladesh.

Day 13                                                                   Cox’s Bazar – Flight – Dhaka:

Morning, free time. Take the noon flight from Cox’s Bazar to Dhaka. Arrive Dhaka, transfer to hotel. Rest of the day for relax or shopping. Overnight Dhaka and End our services.
