Tour Brief of One Week Adventure in the Rivers of Bangladesh

Day 01: Dhaka to Barisal by Paddle steamer overnight Cruise

Meet with our guide at the Sadargaht terminal at 19:30 hrs and we will transfer you to Barisal launch by Air conditional VIP cabins with attached toilets (couple sharing) or Paddle Steamers! It’s an overnight Cruise. Inside the boat, you will get the facility of food (Bengali dishes mostly). Enjoy the cruise to Barisal.  (Dinner)

Day 02: Barisal Floating Markets & Bagerhat UNESCO Heritage site 

Early morning (05:30 -06:00 hrs) arrive at the Barisal Launch Ghat and then we will transfer you to the hotel for Breakfast. Then we will start driving towards Banori Para

⊗  Take the Engine boat for half a day to visit the floating markets at Sopukati, floating wood market, beautiful village life, famous floating gardening, etc.

⊗  We will disembark from the boat and drive to Mongla port (125 km/ 04 hours),.

⊗  On the way to Mongla, we will visit the Bagerhat UNESCO world heritage site. We will visit the 60 dome mosque, 09 dome mosque, the shrine, ranvijaipur mosque, etc. Afternoon transfer to Khulna and overnight (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner )

Day 03: Sundarbans Mangrove Forest Tour with Small Boat 

Sundarbans, the single largest mangrove forest situated two-third of Bangladesh's portion. Unique vegetation, mangrove landscape, wild sea beach, plenty of birdlife, and alarm of tigers give the best tour and adventure experience in Bangladesh. In this 6000 sq km, it will take about a month to explore the whole forest by boat because it’s a cluster of thousand of the island and only by boat you can reach.

⊗  Morning, transfer to mongla to board on the Sundarbans cruising boat, and immediately it will resume its cruising to the most southeast border of Sundarbans at the mouth of Bay of Bengal known as Kotka – Kochikhai wildlife sanctuary area.

⊗  Sitting in the boat and enjoying nature is truly unique. In the entering part, there are several hundred fishing boats and villagers near the river will wave you for good luck, a unique photography adventure of rural Bangladesh.

⊗  On the way, we will first stop at the forest office to get the permission letter and accompanying the forest guards with us throughout the trip and we will entire the forest.

⊗  Depending on the tide, the boat wills cruise through the different small narrow channels to give you more flavor of the forest diversity. Arrive at Kotka Wildlife Sanctuary in the afternoon.

⊗  In the Kolka forest area, there is a popular channel for birding called Pokkhir Khal where we will offer you the first boat trip in the afternoon, we have one small engine boat to entire the remote part of the channels and we stop the engine and rowing inside the cannel to get close to the animals.

⊗  If time permits, we will climb up to the watchtower and you can see the drawn movement of the wildlife’s even tigers if you are lucky!!!

We will anchor the boat near the forest office and overnight in Kotka. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be freshly cooked food will be served. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 04: Explore the Kotka – Kochikhali wildlife sanctuary area

Kotka – Kochikhali area is the richest wildlife sanctuary area of Sundarbans. Especially for the Geological region, there are more wildlife has been recorded than any other part of the Entire Sundarbans (Bangladesh – India). Grown-up near the seaside, the channels landscape is exceptional, the forest is less thick and more food for all animal and the density of tigers are the most here.

⊗  Early morning before breakfast, we offer you a country boat tour inside the small channels of Sundarbans. Early morning is the best time for boating and plenty of changes to come across with the birds like Kingfisher, Lesser adjutant, mangrove wisher, purple sunbird, a sandpiper, etc. animals like deer, boar, monkey, lizard, snakes, etc come near the channels for the sun. expecting to see the tiger in Sundarbans can spoil your Sundarbans journey.

⊗  The birds or the animals in Sundarbans are very shy because very rarely the animals encountered the tourist or people. After all, the whole reserve forest has not human settlements. Except the fishermen’s come to fishing with the forest permission and you can see them and they have very interesting faces and difficult lifestyle.

⊗  In the daytime, we will visit the Kolka forest office area to do some trekking in the forest. The forest part of Kolkata is very interesting because in past, it was used as a salt factory for portages pirates and now these high mounds have become the shelter of wildlife during flooding or heavy rain. This place is also called tiger den. We will start trekking from 01 – 03 dens crossing and back to the forest office. This part is very thick and adventurous. you will feel thrilled while crossing the last part of the san,

Afternoon, we will start cruising towards Tambulbunia Forest Office. Bar B Q Dinner and overnight. (Breakfast, Lunch, Bar B Q Dinner)

Day 05: Half a day Sundarbans & Dhaka Arrival

Early morning, boat trip inside the channels and we will start cruising towards Daingmari forest area to drop the forest guards and stops for seeing the dolphins. It is commonplace for gangjatic dolphins. Then we will visit some fishermen’s villagers, visit the interesting temple of Sundarbans and see the lifestyle of the fishermen. After an early lunch disembarks from the boat a starts driving towards Jessore airport .t take the evening flight back t Dhaka. Upon arrival in Dhaka, transfer to Hotel and overnight in Dhaka.

Day 06: Full-day Sightseeing in Dhaka & Fly Back

The government does not promote it for mass tourism, so the number of boats is limited and faculties are basic but standard in the context of Bangladeshi tourism. Our Sundarbans Cruising boat M.
