Day Tour Itinerary of Meet the Artisans of Dhaka 

Meet with our guide in the lobby and we will go for a day trip to Dhamrai village:

• Dhamrai Metal Craft: Dhamrai is one of the places famous for traditional art and craft. One of the most famous and unique is the brass metal village. a few families still keep the legacy of the forefathers of making unique statues, products, goddesses in a zamindar house. we will visit the factories, meet with artisans, learn the techniques.
• Pottery Village & Boat Trip: One the way back, we will stop in a traditional market and take a boat tour deep inside the river where the Hindu pottery works are making beautiful decorative potteries for home decorations, once pottery was very common among the Bengal cultural but now it’s very rare! We will visit the whole village to understand the Bengal village life where bath man woman works together!
• Block printing in Newmarket: people who like photography and colors, Newmarket block printing work will be the best choice, the whole floor you will see small women entrepreneurs with the shop to do any decoration on your clothing! You make also give them designs to make their own decorations! It is an amazing place to visit with lots of activities all around. Even from the market, you will get great pictures of Dhaka's daily lives! Tuesday close!
• Rickshaw Decoration shop: Rickshaw is considered the most common and popular transportation in Dhaka, around four hundred thousand rickshaws play the street of Dhaka that makes Dhaka, the capital of Rickshaw. This eco-friendly man pulled rickshaw is very pretty for its special decoration all over! You might be super lucky if you see the rickshaw painting but usually, we will take it to the store where they do the decorations works!
• Carpenter Shop: Wood carpeting is very common and here you will have details works by the artists. Visit some local carpenter shops and see the beautiful wood carving work of making beds, tables, and many other households stuff!
• Shopping in local Handicraft shops: above all these places you can do the shopping and also we will take you to some local souvenir shops to do the shopping for the finest products!
