Take a break to see the higher Himalayas at Dochu-La-Pass, which is located at 3,150 meters. Check-in at the hotel upon arrival in Punakha.
Visit Punakha Dzong after midday; Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal constructed it in 1637.
It was the government seat for many years until the reign of the second king. Phodrang, or the Palace of Great Happiness, was the name given to the Dzong. In 1952, King Jigme Dorji Wangchuck called the first National Assembly in Punakha, which is still the winter residence of Je-Khenpo.
Next, go for a quick and easy trek to the Chhimi Lhakhang. Also called "The Temple of Fertility," this temple was constructed by Lama Drukpa Kuenley, dubbed "The Devine Mad Man," during that time. Evening at your leisure. Be at Punakha for the night.
Day 3: Explore Punakha and return to Paro by road
Take a drive to Rinpung Dzong and visit it. Dzong holds the monastic body of Paro, the office of Dzongda (district administrative), and the Thrimpon (Judge) of Paro district. It was constructed in 1646 by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal, the first spiritual and temporal monarch of Bhutan.

Day 04: Hiking in the Famous Taktsang Monastery / Tiger Nest
Our treks start at the base and gradually ascend via a pine forest track that is frequently crowded with horses and walkers. The tea house with the ideal Tiger's Nest location, perched 900 meters above the valley floor on a cliff face, is roughly an hour's walk up a moderate slope. Reaching the correct temple will require a difficult climb of another one and a half hours.
According to legend, an Indian guru known as "Guru Rinpoche" arrived in Taktsang in the eighth century, riding a fiery tigress that had transformed into a furious thunderbolt known as Guru Dorji role. To appease the evil power that was terrifying the locals, Guru meditated in this cave for nearly four months while in a trance. During that time, he was able to reveal the Mandala of Shree Vajrakumara. After our return to the base,
we will be transported into the city to have lunch at a nearby restaurant.
You are free to engage in solo activities or to explore the city and take in the local way of life after lunch. End the evening with a sumptuous dinner and retire.
