ITINERARY
Dhaka - Sreemangal - Dhaka in 02 Night & 03 Days
Day 01: Sreemangal train trip and explore the TEA CAPITAL
Travelling by train is always an adventure. It takes you through all of the communities, lush fields, and rivers in both rural and urban areas. It's a great method to see Bangladesh and its lovely landscape daily. The train arrives at lunchtime, and we'll be taken to our local eco-resort, passing through lush green tea and rubber plantations.
In the afternoon we will visit the lush green tea gardens, walk into the green and peace with less noise pollution, This is the best season to visit this region with rain the gardens look more greenish. We will also walk into the tea workers' village; and see the traditional way of living
We will drive to Madupur Lake, one of the hilltops and the lake from where you will get some nice views.
Transfer to the hotel and on the way; stop at the local tea stall to taste the famous tea of Bangladesh, seven-layer tea. Overnight in Sreemangal.
Day 02: Forest hike & Indigenous Tourism in sreemangal
Today we will start early in the morning to enjoy the forest and to encounter the rare hillock gibbons. The day plan includes -
Lawarchara National Park is one of the last remaining habitats for gibbons and the only apes in Bangladesh, with diverse birdlife and lush greenery. With our professional local guide, we will travel to the route as well as deep into the forest to trek the gibbons. Butterflies, various spiders, and lovely solar dims inside the forest make your mornings bright. Within the forest is a khasia hamlet, which is open to visitors depending on the weather.
We'll go to a primary school to learn about how Bangladesh Eco Adventure Community-Based Tourism helps minorities. Meet with students from minority communities such as Tea Workers Villages, Garu, Munda, and other tribal groups. Enjoy a little cultural event put on by students in the area.
You can buy some of them in the markets after visiting the Manipuri community and seeing the famous hand-loom artistry.
Locally produced world-class tea, local tribe craft at tribal shops, special lemons called sakura, seasonal fresh fruits, and so on are available for purchase.

In Sreemangal, one of the highlights is cycling in the tea gardens, after several years of restrictions, you can cycle again. we will take you to the tea gardens through the tea valleys with cycles to enjoy the scenery surrounded by small or big tea gardens.
later we will take you to the Baikka Beel, the bird sanctuary area to see the local birds and also enjoy the sunset. back to the hotel and overnight in Sreemangal
Day 03: Dhaka Back & Old Capital Sonrgaon - Batik village, Panam City etc
Today after breakfast, we will start driving back to Dhaka 190km/5 hrs and on the way, we will visit Batik village, the old capital sonargaon and many other things including -
Visit the famous Batik colouring village near Dhaka using wax and different colours. Later transfer to your hotel or residence and end our tour
We will visit the Sadarghat Bari Palace, which is considered the most beautiful palace in Bangladesh. dated back to 17th AD, it was the home of the Bengals one of the powerful zamindars. now after a massive restoration, this beautiful building is open for tourists.
Panam City is one of the abounding cities in the old. Once it was the home of rich Bengali Hindu merchants and later during wartime, the building abounded. Beautifully decorated buildings now under archaeological sites give you an impression of Bengal affluence.
Then drive to Bidder Bazaar boat terminal and take a relaxing boat tour with an engine boat in the Meghna River. You can see the beauty of river life, nature, and beautiful landscapes. While cruising we will cross several villages, lots of daily life activities, etc you can enjoy. Back to the boat station and later transfer to the hotel or your residence and end the tour!
